SCAMMER ALERT
Fake Adrian Peterson autographs? I see on the net, 8 x 10's supposedly autographed by Adrian Peterson. The picture is from the Bedlam game, and the 'proof' photo is from his signing day in High School.  I have that pic on my site, its from ouinsider. The seller has zero feedback. It's a SCAM. Adrian Peterson at the top of the freshman 15

OU's Adrian Peterson runs into bias: Denver Post

Adrian Peterson needs 491 yards in 4 games (from a message board)
To set the all time NCAA freshman rushing record. He needs to average 122.75 ypg for the rest of the season.

Of the remaining opponents, Nebraska has the 9th rated rushing defense, while Baylor has the 87th.

Potential Big XII Championship opponents:

Iowa State has the 39th rushing defense.
Kansas State has the 57th rushing defense.
Missouri is 63rd.

I think he can do it, and even though Nebraska's run D is highly rated, after getting softened up by a few Jason White passes, they might open up more too. We'll see.

Good luck, Adrian...break the record.

BTW: here's the list of the leaders:

OU still #2 in the BCS

Looks like Adrian Peterson and Jason White top the Heisman poll on ESPN.com
Even though College Gameday is giving no love to OU. Hey Gameday, your 'consistent' Auburn doing it to teams that give them like 90th on SOS. oh boy and OU's SOS? 7. I hope OU gets to Orange Bowl so OU can show you who is the best team in the land.

Will Adrian Peterson play vs. Nebraska? Maybe we'll know more Tuesday when Stoops addresses the media. If Adrian Peterson wants to play, will Stoops put him in?

Adrian Peterson  carried the ball 29 times for 101 yards and 1 TD
Adrian left the game and put on like a vest to protect his ribs or shoulder, but came back in and carried the ball one more time. oh yeah OU wins 42-35  oh, and OU burned the redshirt for Marcus Walker and guess what, Walker comes in, and our D tightens up and the D dominates in the second half. oh yeah, Jason White was incredible 5 tds! ZERO interceptions

Adrian Peterson number 1 on ESPN.com Heisman List. Jason White is now number 2
Last Performance -- Adrian Peterson got his 100 yards -- for the ninth straight game -- but he wasn't the impact player he's been in past weeks. He did win points for playing hurt, though, as he returned from a shoulder injury late in the game.

Last Game Stats

Next Game -- Saturday, Nov. 13, vs. Nebraska

Last Performance -- Jason White is playing his way back to NYC. White once again was dominating -- it's his fourth straight game with at least 3 TD passes -- and is making teams pay for worrying about Adrian Peterson.

Last Game Stats

Look what Matt Hayes wrote about OU: "If only Nebraska could execute that West Coast offense as it intends to, this Oklahoma charade would end before quarterback Jason White wins another Heisman Trophy and coach Bob Stoops collects another contract bonus.

We've seen this before. The Sooners look invincible early on, struggle defensively late in the season and eventually don't live up to expectations. That pattern won't change this season, either. Let's assume OU dusts off Nebraska and Baylor, wins the Big 12 championship game -- can we really call it a "championship" game with Iowa State on the card? -- and gets rewarded with a nice trip to sunny Miami.

It will get exposed. Again.

It doesn't matter if it's Southern California, Auburn, Wisconsin or California. Oklahoma has serious flaws defensively -- its secondary can't cover, and there could be concerns developing against the run as well. Plus, its offensive line still can't protect White. It's only a matter of time before it all unravels again."

OK MATT, don't compare last year's team to this year's team. Realize our number 1 cornerback is out. Realize that we just burned Marcus Walker's redshirt, and the kid played great vs the Aggies. About the Big 12 championship, it's not our fault the division is weak.  Concerns vs. the run? Didn't we stop Cedric Benson? Didn't we stop Vernand Morency? Find me a 100 yard rusher vs. OU. The offensive line can't protect White? Hey Matt, how many  times has Jason been sacked? Matt here is your been SACKED stats. Jason White has been sacked 7 times this year. Your boy, Matt Leinart, 18 friggin' times. duh. A matter of time before it all unravels? More OU hating in the media.  If anyone would like to email Matt Hayes, mhayes@sportingnews.com
